- Alexander N. Green, a Democratic U.S. representative, called for President Donald J. Trump’s impeachment in Dec., 2025.
- The first article of Impeachment was titled “Abuse of Presidential Power by Calling for the Execution of Members of Congress,” which referred to Trump’s attempt to arrest six lawmakers, all Democrats and former military, who made a video informing military officials they do not have tot carry out Trump’s orders if they were illegal.
- The second article of Impeachment had the title “Abuse of Presidential Power to Intimidate Federal Judges in Violation of the Separation of Powers and Independence of the Judiciary,” which Green said was shown when Trump made threats against federal judges in an attempt to get them to favor the Trump administration.
- The final vote ended with the House of Representatives voting 237-140, tabling the resolution.
- This is the second time that Green has attempted to impeach Trump, with the last attempt taking place in June 2025, also tabled with a vote of 344-79.
