As of Oct. 20, the football team is 6-2.
Senior Jordan Sweeney said the team needs to positively support each other and focus on improving instead of blaming one another for bad plays.
“Regardless [of what happens], we have to pick our teammates up during good and bad plays. We have to complement them and make them feel better. We can’t play the blame game because it demoralizes everybody. We have to prepare ourselves mentally to know we are not a losing team and that all games we’ve lost could have gone in our favor,” Sweeney said.
Junior Mason Casso said that daily practice and studying other teams’ strategies helps him make successful plays.
