The 2025-26 girls varsity basketball team finds themselves without any seniors and a completely different roster. Junior Anna Schneiders said that the team is very different this year, making it difficult to adapt.
“It’s a lot different this year because it’s basically a brand new team, only four of us played with each other last year so it’s difficult adjusting and we also just have to get to know each other,” Schneiders said.
Schneiders said that she and junior Maddeson Chonech were selected as team captains because they were the only returning upperclassmen.
“Me and [Chonech] are the team captains and they were decided because we are the only two upperclassmen that returned from varsity last year,” Schneiders said.
