On Jan. 10, the hockey team fell to the MICDS Rams 3-1. In goal during the first two periods of the game was senior Russell Kempf, who believes that changing their techniques would have helped them during the game.
“We didn’t really change our game plan a whole lot. We kind of just kept playing a similar style. We got a lot of shots on their goalie, but we didn’t change it up enough,” Kempf said.
Kempf thinks that to come out on top in future games the team needs to pay more attention to the other goalies.
“I think [the team] needs to focus on changing our style just a tad bit to adjust to how the goalie is playing. I think we very much were outplaying their team, but we did not outplay their goalie,” Kempf said.
